Artists, Writers, Musicians Retreat

Review, Recharge, Re-connect with your bigger Picture

This is not a "painting or writing or how to compose a concerto holiday" with daily exercises or demonstrations. It's an opportunity for professionals and non professionals to find new themes, new directions, new energy, and new inspiration for their work. It's about seeing and appreciating the bigger picture of your contribution to the world as an accomplished creative catalyst, capable of enriching the lives of others by the beauty you create, the questions you pose, and the insights you offer, either in a small private way, or in a professional public way.

It's also about finding new ways of using your creativity to help others. The world desperately needs people like you. Never doubt this. The week combines the opportunity for healthy eating, rest, walking in nature, with exploring new creative ideas in an unusual but profound way. You may be working on a project at the moment, or you may be in between projects. You may want to paint, write or compose a lot while you are here, or just a little. It will be inspiring for those eager to advance their ideas, and also for those feeling stuck, jaded, or stale.

The retreat will start with a storyboarding session focusing on moving forward with your painting writing or music. In this session many themes for new works will appear. These will be intimately related to your life's inner journey, your challenges and your life purpose as a creative person. From day two onwards, you will spend your time as you like, reflecting on your storyboard and using it for sketches, paintings, poems, journaling, compositions etc.

This retreat will give you a fascinating new look inwards, and will be particularly helpful if you feel you are being repetitive with your work. On your second last day there will be a further session to review your storyboard, and see where it's leading you. The week includes a field trip out of the village (see list), and the Peruvian Despatcho Ceremony to end your retreat.
