If you struggle with eating challenges and genuinely want to change the way you eat, what you eat, how you cook, how you buy food, and how you think and feel about what you eat, this retreat offers the opportunity to have a healing feast of a week for body, mind, and spirit.

This retreat is designed for people who have completely lost the pleasure in eating. For people who are sick of their eating disorders or food intolerances. For people who are genuinely ready to change all their (negative) beliefs about food. For brave people wanting to find a new way to feed themselves healthily, simply, cheaply, with a minimum of time spent on cooking, and a maximum time spent enjoying their tasty creations.

Food for the Body:

Six days of safe, extremely simple, healthy food, no additives, nothing out of a tin. No food shopping, no washing up! Delicious, exciting, new meals and snacks will be made for you three times a day. You will be asked to fill in a simple food questionnaire before you arrive. With a little bit of pre-planning, these meals will be very easy for you to recreate when you return home, whatever your lifestyle. You will need a liquidiser, a small electric chopper and a small steamer for your new eating plan. The week can be either vegetarian or meat based.

Food for the Mind:

During the week there will be a unique opportunity to discover and change the core negative belief which keeps us attached to unhealthy eating habits. This also applies to problems with food intolerances. When this belief is unearthed, it can be changed though creative activities and affirmations, as in the Creativity Retreat. When we are free to feed our bodies happily, without any fear, we stop being eaten away by our greedy saboteur within.

Food for the Spirit:

The 'tools' used to discover and then transform the core negative belief will be storyboarding, a Past Life Regression session, a simple meditative practice, art/play, and CCMBA healing. Storyboarding bypasses the rational mind and gets right to the core issue. When the negative belief is released, the spirit is recharged with the energy previously used in keeping the negative belief in place. Picture somebody keeping a large ball under water in a swimming pool, picture the effort used in keeping the ball under water, it's huge, and what happens when the hand is removed is a whoosh of energy that then becomes resident in your body: 'Spirit energy' in the language of the shaman.
